Product Information :
Modular high-performance systems which allow transmission of
video signals from the Evolution 4000- and 5000-series TICs to
one of a number of fully contained receiving stations.
State-of-the-art 2.4 GHz technology and electronic and imaging
components ensure that the remote wireless video transmission
system provides optimum performance for the firefighter. The
systems operate at one of two user-selectable frequencies and
have been integrally designed to allow for maximum user
flexibility. For Evolution 4000-series TICs, the transmitter is
located within the handle of the TIC and transmits an analog
signal at 45mH. For Evolution 5000-series TICs, the transmitter
is connected around the outer housing of the TIC and draws power
from its own battery. This transmitter is the most powerful
analog transmitter, sending signals at 450mH.
Two receiving station models are available as complements for
the transmitter. First is the Deluxe Evolution remote wireless
video receiver with integrated display (P/N 10018997) contains
an electronics/display module in a self-contained metal-formed
chassis which encloses the 12-inch diagonal display, necessary
power and video conditioning circuitry, and user control
interfaces. The system will accept either 110 VAC input or 12
VDC input via a cigarette lighter plug type cable (included). The
user has the ability to select frequency (two-channels) to
provide the optimal picture. Two additional BNC output jacks
allow the user to connect two additional video monitors,
computer displays or recording devices of the user’s choice.
The Deluxe Evolution remote wireless video receiver product
shall consist of a deluxe display/receiver module 2 BNC
connectors, a receiving antenna, 10-foot auxiliary coaxial video
cable, two RCA video input adapter jacks, a 110 VAC power cord,
12 VDC cigarette lighter adapter cord, grab-n-go carrying case
and an operation and instruction manual.
The second model is the Evolution remote wireless video
mini-receiver kit (without display) (P/N 10020165). This lower
cost alternative to the deluxe Evolution remote wireless video
receiver allows the user to integrate receiving capability into
a video monitor, computer display or recording device of the
user’s choice. The Evolution remote wireless video mini-receiver
product consists of a receiver module, a receiving antenna,
10-foot auxiliary coaxial video cable, two RCA video input
adapter jacks, 110 VAC power cord, 12 VDC cigarette lighter
adapter cord, a carrying case and operation and instruction
manual.
