Principles of Operation :
The Watchman Multigas Monitor has only three buttons. Its backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) continuously provides readings from all sensors. When a preset alarm condition is detected by any sensor, an internal horn activates and two bright red warning lights flash. The combustible sensor uses MSA's Lockalarm T circuit. If the combustible gas level reaches 100% of the lower explosive limit (LEL), the alarm locks and cannot be reset until the user moves to fresh air, turns the unit off and back on again.

Approvals & Standards :

The Watchman Multigas Monitor meets intrinsic safety testing requirements for use in Class 1 Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II Division 1, Groups E, F, G; and Class III hazardous locations.
