Watchman® Multigas Monitor

Principles of
Operation :
The Watchman Multigas Monitor has only three buttons. Its
backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) continuously provides
readings from all sensors. When a preset alarm condition is
detected by any sensor, an internal horn activates and two
bright red warning lights flash. The combustible sensor uses
MSA's Lockalarm T circuit. If the combustible gas level reaches
100% of the lower explosive limit (LEL), the alarm locks and
cannot be reset until the user moves to fresh air, turns the
unit off and back on again.

Monitor meets intrinsic safety testing requirements for use in
Class 1 Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II Division 1,
Groups E, F, G; and Class III hazardous locations.
